Navigating PIHOA's Future: a sub-regional NCD road map

A  meeting report will soon be available that will serve as a sub-regional road map for addressing the crisis of non-communicable diseases in the United States Affiliated Pacific Islands over the next few years.
The report will include at least two subcomponents:

1. A three-year strategic plan for the Pacific Island Health Officers Association, with NCDs as the unifying theme.
2. A variety of stakeholder strategies, developed by the stakeholders themselves, for strengthening their work, coordination and approach—both individually and collectively—to addressing the NCD crisis.

These two subcomponents will together serve as a sub-regional NCD road map for the USAPI. The road map is intended to enhance, and not supplant or duplicate, existing local and/or regional NCD strategies.
