PIHOA & PITCA: Stop TB Meeting

PIHOA & PITCA: Stop TB Meeting

The Pacific Islands Tuberculosis Controllers Association (PITCA), together with PIHOA, convened the first meeting jointly sponsored by SPC, WHO and CDC/PIHOA. The five-day meeting took place in Palau from May 7 to 11, 2012, and saw the gathering of about 140 participants from both the North and South Pacific in various tuberculosis-related professions: TB program managers, TB clinicians, nurses and TB lab techs. PIHOA provided logistical assistance to the meeting, and co-facilitated the TB lab break-out sessions with CDC and Diagnostic Lab Services.
