Connectivity

PIHOA serves to foster collaboration, communication, and promote functional and cost-effective solutions to common health systems problems among USAPI.  Since 1987, PIHOA has served as the only such regional health policy body for the USAPI.  PIHOA regularly convenes Pacific Island health leaders with representatives from a range US Federal, international, and educational institutions, to further PIHOA regional priorities for health. Besides the federal agencies, we include our other partners, such as our Affiliate Members. Through these collaborations and collective efforts PIHOA steadily and successfully works to achieve improved health status for all Pacific Region residents.
