Friday, August 5, 2022 (Honolulu, HI) –  A case study on the Pacific Island Vector Management Council (PIVMC) was highlighted in ASTHOs recent Public Health Confronts the Mosquito report. The PIVMC’s Regional Plan, endorsed collectively by the USAPIs, works to support individual jurisdictions’ efforts to address the threats of vector-borne diseases and establish a coordinated regional approach to maintain capacities between outbreaks and prevent mosquito-borne diseases from spreading between islands.
