Dr. Gillian Dunn Attends the Workshop on CRVS Interoperability and Data Sharing in New Zealand

October 24, 2023 (Honolulu, HI) – Last week, Dr. Gillian Dunn, PIHOA Regional Health Information and Management Systems and Surveillance Coordinator attended the Technical Workshop on CRVS System Interoperability and Data Sharing in New Zealand! Primarily funded by the US Embassy New Zealand, with support from the Pacific-Community-SPC, the workshop brought together Civil Registrars from New Zealand, Niue, the Cook Islands, Tokelau, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu, and American Samoa. Participants explored the use of technology and innovation to strengthen identity security across the region and how birth and death data can be shared across borders to prevent identity fraud.
