Tuesday, June 21, 2022 (Honolulu) – Epidemiologists from the CNMI, Guam, Palau, RMI, and PIHOA represent the U.S.-Affiliated Pacific Islands this week at the 2022 Annual Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologist Conference in Louisville, Kentucky! Epidemiology is essential to the fight against any disease. PIHOA’s current efforts include strengthening regional and jurisdiction-level surveillance and epidemiological capacities, systems, and processes for non-communicable diseases, infectious diseases, and other emerging, outbreak-prone conditions of public health significance.
