HPV Screening Micro Planning Meeting Held in Guam
The implementing and evaluating primary HPV testing in the USAPIs stakeholder planning meeting was held in Guam on January 22, 2020. Topics discussed include cervical cancer burden and prevention activities in Guam, lessons learned from developing health interventions in the USAPIs and development of operational plans on management of HPV, treatment of precancers and treatment of cancers. A few meeting participants, including PIHOA Executive Director, Emi Chutaro also traveled to the CNMI to meet with CNMI Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation staff and discussed cervical cancer burden and prevention activities in the CNMI.
