We are seeking an experienced and qualified Medical Entomologist to build regional and local capacity for routine, public health mosquito surveillance and control to limit the spread arboviruses in the US-affiliated Pacific Islands (USAPIs). This position will be co-located in the PIHOA Guam Office and the Guam Division of Environmental Health.  Major duties and responsibilities include working closely with the Guam Division of Environmental Health leadership and staff to build technical staff competencies and capacity of the mosquito lab into a regional resource for vector surveillance systems, provide technical assistance and support to sustain and strengthen Guam’s routine and enhanced vector surveillance programs and review and refine Guam’s routine and enhanced integrated vector control plans, and implements vector control program.
