September 8, 2021 (Pohnpei, FSM) – The Pohnpei State Hospital becomes the first in the USAPI to roll out a Comprehensive Laboratory Handbook! Maopa Raikabula, a Medical Laboratory Technologist at the Pohnpei State Hospital, said, “The information will be an invaluable tool for doctors and nurses in deciding lab diagnoses for patients. On this journey towards accreditation, the Pohnpei State Hospital Laboratory has made great achievements and will make more in the future,” she added. The laboratory handbook compilation, printing, and launch were spear-headed by Mr. Manasa Mainaqelelevu, PIHOA Regional Laboratory Program Specialist.
