August 27, 2025 (Honolulu, Hawaiʻi) – PIHOA is proud to highlight the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Ministry of Health and Human Services (MOHHS) for their leadership in strengthening health workforce systems.
At the request of Secretary Mattu Wase-Jacklick, PIHOA provided technical assistance to the MOHHS Human Resources (HR) and Information Technology (IT) teams in Majuro on July 15–16, 2025. The focus of this support was OrangeHRM, a human resource management platform that helps organizations build stronger HR systems by streamlining employee administration, improving efficiency, and supporting data-driven workforce planning.
Key Milestones Achieved
MOHHS administrative accounts were set up
A hands-on system review was completed
590 employee records were successfully uploaded into OrangeHRM
In addition to these technical achievements, discussions emphasized the importance of high-quality workforce data to support long-term planning, workforce development, and sustainable solutions across the RMI health system.
PIHOA extends its appreciation — kommol tata — to the MOHHS HR and IT teams for their commitment and collaboration. Congratulations on this important milestone in advancing workforce systems in the Marshall Islands.
