January 28, 2026 (Majuro, RMI) – The final day of the 77th PIHOA Executive Board Meeting, held in November 2025, concluded with a visit to Ine Village in Arno Atoll and a blessing and reopening ceremony for the newly renovated Ine Health Dispensary.
PIHOA board members, Secretariat staff, and regional partners joined the Ine community, traditional leadership, and government officials to celebrate this important milestone in improving healthcare access for outer-island residents. The visit highlighted the RMI Ministry of Health and Human Services’ continued commitment to strengthening health infrastructure and supporting healthcare workers serving remote island communities.
The day concluded with a traditional ceremony and community gathering, offering a meaningful reminder of the partnerships and community connections that sustain public health efforts across the region.
