September 21, 2023 (Honolulu, HI) – Eighteen (18) public health professionals from the RMI Ministry of Health and Human services completed their coursework in a field epidemiology training program earlier this year. They will earn a Post-Graduate Certificate in Field Epidemiology (PGCFE) from Fiji National University! This training is part of PIHOA’s Strengthening Health Interventions in the Pacific (SHIP) Program, which aims to strengthen epidemiology, surveillance capacity, and health information systems throughout the USAPI health agencies.
