September 2, 2025 (Honolulu, HI) – The PIHOA Secretariat successfully conducted a two-day Grants Management Training for the Republic of the Marshall Islands Ministry of Health and Human Services (MOHHS) from July 28-29, 2025, in Majuro.
The training brought together 36 participants from MOHHS and the Ministry of Finance to strengthen skills in federal grants implementation, management, and compliance. Pre- and post-tests showed significant improvement, with average scores increasing from 51% to 76%, and participants rated the training 4.6 out of 5.
This training is part of PIHOA’s continued commitment to building health system capacity across the Pacific.
